Professionals must act honestly, competently, courteously and in the client's interests, subject to law and professional duties.

2. Regulatory compliance

Migration agents must comply with the Migration Agents Code of Conduct. Legal practitioners must comply with applicable legal profession legislation, conduct rules and practising certificate conditions.

Use client information only for the enquiry or engagement, maintain appropriate security and do not disclose it except with authority or lawful basis.

Deal with complaints professionally and cooperate reasonably with Platform verification, safety and integrity investigations.

07

7. Consequences

Breach may result in warnings, conditions, suspension or removal, without limiting regulatory or legal consequences.
